I’d love to introduce Ozzil Waves, a uniquely skilled DJ with an ear for detail and an undeniable passion for music. Known for his genre-blending sets and ability to read any crowd, Ozzil has carved out a distinct place in South Africa’s DJ scene.

He made history as the first DJ from the Western Cape to win the National Makoya DJ Champ, a groundbreaking achievement that solidified his reputation as a technical master. His talent and dedication then propelled him to the Top 36 on SABC 1’s acclaimed “1s and 2s” competition — a national platform showcasing the best of the best.

With years of experience performing at clubs, festivals, and private events, Ozzil Waves is celebrated for his ability to fuse Amapiano, AfroHouse/Tech and hard hitting local Gqom music. 

From humble beginnings in the Western Cape to making waves across South Africa’s music scene, Ozzil continues to push creative boundaries, bringing fresh energy and precision to every performance.
